Zalora Haul

Before we get into it (the haul, I mean), I just wanted to share my feelings with all of you, first.

As all of you know, I recently just launched my blog.  Finally, after months and months of planning, researching, writing, taking photos and after years and years of being a private blogger, it’s finally out. You know, it’s funny because just as I was about to release the official thing, I was super nervous. All I could think of was, why is this my life, what am I doing, am I really doing this, am I ready? There’s no turning back once it’s out, because everyone already knows. Maybe the truth is, I will never be ready.

But I am so blessed. Whether I succeed or not, this whole thing reminds me of my true friends. They have been so kind, always helping me in idea making, taking my photos (woops), supporting me when I get scared, telling me how they’re going to be my fans (lol) and read my posts, even assisting me make my website and all those things. I am so grateful for it all.

Things have also changed ever since entry number one. My dad’s been shouting, “blogger” every time he sees me. And now people I meet on an almost-daily basis in school ask me how’s your blog when I see them. I am whelmed.

For this post, I have a total of four looks for you. I’ve been a customer of Zalora for almost two years now, and it’s mainly because I don’t really go out of the house frequently. I don’t go to malls. It’s not that I don’t have the time, I believe we all have time to do things that we really want to do, and maybe shopping personally isn’t something I really want to do. So I online shop, mostly.

Zalora is my wardrobe’s source of life at the moment. But I’ll talk about their amazing system and abundance of cute outfits another time.

My first look is called, the Minimalist. It’s literally just a T-shirt dress (it’s only P700) I’m wearing, but it still looks pretty put-together. I paired it with a long kimono made of crochet material, and some platform shoes that I bought in Japan in a random pop-up store around the Shibuya, Tokyo area.

Striped Sailor. For this look, the bottoms is the purchase from Zalora. It’s this nice striped pink skirt (that goes a bit short, just a warning). I called this look a sailor look because of the blouse, which I bought in a secondhand store in Japan.

The third outfit is Midnight Bloom. It’s a simple black playsuit with red flower patterns, which give the outfit a nice pop of colour. I got it on size S, so it’s a bit short – I had to wear biker shorts underneath. I paired it with this olive green jacket I got again from a secondhand shop in Tokyo, and these black heels from Zalora.

The final look is Imperfectly Perfect. This is probably my favourite look, because of the pink flowy pants (that’s what my best friend and I call them–flowy pants). I’ve been searching high and low for this colour on this type of material, and I finally found a pair on Zalora (they have a ton of other choices too). I paired it with a tight-fitted white blouse since the pants are very loose.

Featuring my behind-the-scenes team who are better than me in posing:
(my big bro Kevin on the left, and my best friend Jami on the right)

Disclaimer and personal thoughts on my photos: I am not a model. As of now, I’m still super awkward with the camera, and I only have like two poses that I know how to do. I need more practice lol

That’s it on today’s entry! If you have any inquiries about Zalora, or if you want to know more about the store, feel free to message or email me personally. See you in the next one!
