It’s a couple of days before halloween, so to be in line with the season, I have another fashion entry with all my failed poses, seriously someone teach me how to model for the camera.
It’s been two weeks after my birthday, and my last couple of posts have been a bit more emotional, so I thought it was time to do something a bit more fun, and light.
Instead of going for your typical crazy halloween look, I thought to do something a bit different – I came up with four different modern halloween outfits that were inspired by some of your favourite fictional characters.

The first modern halloween outfit is inspired from Spongebob. I copied his long-sleeved white polo (mine is from H&M, his probably is, as well) with a red tie from S’Fare. I paired it with brown shorts from Forever 21, long white socks from Daiso, and black sneakers from Keds. I think my smile here is very Spongebob, don’t you think?

The second outfit is this simple elegant Snow White look. Underneath I wore my sleeveless collared top from Cotton On and a navy blue sweatshirt from Uniqlo on top of it. For my bottoms, I didn’t know whether to opt for a pastel-like yellow coloured skirt from Forever 21. I matched the top portion of this look using some blue wedges from Staccato.

Ok this next look is pretty difficult to guess, but it really was inspired by another famous character: Disney’s Hades. To copy his blue flamey hair, I used a navy blue beret. My inner grey shirt is from Uniqlo, while the pinafore is from Zalora’s Eyescream. To finish this dark, sombre look, I wore tights and black heels.

Finally, my favourite outfit of the day which I created last year – Harry Potter. I actually wore this look before, just last year, and I thought it was pretty cool to share. The only difference from 2016 and 2017 is this year, I came as a Gryffindor. I wore a sleeveless white collared top from Cotton On and a grey sweatshirt from GU. For my bottoms, I wore a black skirt from Cotton On, tights, and my white sneakers from Converse.
The beauty of these outfits is how you don’t have to wait for halloween to wear them. You can wear them on a casual day out, and still look really cute. They were also very easy to style, because I just used all these fashion items straight from my wardrobe and sort of just matched them all up. It didn’t even matter that three out of four of the characters I chose were male, it was really fun to create these outfits based on all of them.

I feel like I haven’t posted in forever, but it’s only been a couple of weeks since I last did. Life’s been interesting, lately, but I promised myself that I’d have two entries this week to make up for my absence last week.
Anyway, happy halloween everyone! See you in a few days!
