Christmas Gift Guide 2017

Hi everybody, as you all may know Christmas is literally just around the corner. The streets are packed, there are festive lights everywhere, and the malls are busier than ever what with everyone doing their last minute Christmas shopping.

For this entry, I came up with five categories for the perfect Christmas gifts that you can give to your loved ones, or even to yourself. These are a mix of everyday items, some come off really cheap, others are a bit pricey, but they’re all come off as practical and useful.

So let’s begin.

1. Electronics

So for the first category, there are tons of different items you could buy that could literally be used everyday such as: powerbanks, speakers, lamps, iPhone cases. I also find guys a bit difficult to buy gifts for, so I always end up in this direction.

2. Hobbies

The next category is hobbies. This would be really specific to the person, because it’s a really broad category – but that just means there are a lot of products you can choose from: brushpens, boardgames, instruments, etc.

If you’re giving someone who’s really into art and travelling, this Sakura watercolour palette would be perfect. Purchased from http://lazada.com for Php 1,200.

3. Clothes

The next category is a no brainer. UPTown Center or Eastwood Mall, or Centris, or World Trade Center – there are tons of bazaars out there in that you could go to that has cheap clothes but of good quality. You can buy dress and cardigan for a total of Php 200 only. On the pricier range you could opt to buy clothes in stores like Uniqlo, or even online.

For girls, it’d be nice to give free size shirts and dresses, guys on the other hand I personally think t-shirts, hoodies, and jackets are the way to go.

4. Jewelry and Accessories

You just can’t go wrong with this category when it comes to your female friends and family. Tons of earrings, necklaces, that you can choose from, that can range from Php 50 to Php 1000 depending on where you purchase from! Personally, I love going to bazaars, since bargains are amazing.

Purchased the Mesmerizing Mineral Palette Mineral Contour and Lid Lingerie from http://https://beautymnl.com/ for Php 620 and Php 550 respectively

Makeup comes off pricier, but the use for it is limitless. I love buying anything makeup or skincare from BeautyManila.

5. Homemade Gifts

Finally, if you just can’t find anything for someone, this category is definitely the way to go. You can give a simple scrapbook, or photo albums, or even homemade cookies, and the receiver(‘s tummy) will surely appreciate it through and through.

Sorry for the late-ish blog update! School kind of just ended, and I’ve been literally all over the place (just flew from Boracay and now I’m travelling to Japan in six hours).

This was a really fun entry to do for me, since more than receiving gifts (HA!) I really love choosing and buying presents, so much that it becomes a recurring distraction (wrapping them is just so therapeutic, I’m sure some people would agree). I find that when I buy the perfect gift that suits a family or friend, I get really happy and proud of myself. It’s a thing. A weird one.

Anyway, that’s all for today’s one! Comment below, and follow me on here as well! I’ll see you in the next one, hope you’re all excited for Christmas!
