Christmas Gift Guide 2017

Hi everybody, as you all may know Christmas is literally just around the corner. The streets are packed, there are festive lights everywhere, and the malls are busier than ever what with everyone doing their last minute Christmas shopping.

For this entry, I came up with five categories for the perfect Christmas gifts that you can give to your loved ones, or even to yourself. These are a mix of everyday items, some come off really cheap, others are a bit pricey, but they’re all come off as practical and useful.

10 Things to be Thankful for this Thanksgiving’s 2017

There’s work, there’s school. Bad days and inconsistencies. There are confusing times, and there are difficult people. And with so much negativity building up, I guess this should be the perfect moment to pause and be thankful for the things that keep us going.

Homemade Gift Ideas 2017

When I was a kid, I always knew I was into three things: arts, music, and writing. For the arts, I know, I’m no artist the way my younger brother is (sorry for that plug), but I did enjoy doing art-related things (and I still do): drawing comics, making greeting cards, doing calligraphy, and creating homemade gifts. I always believed that there was so much meaning in this type of gift category, as it requires time and effort, and a lot of heart.

To be honest, it’s been years since I last made homemade gifts; but recently, I was inspired by my best friend Danica (whom I’m sure will be really surprised by this because I’ve never told her before) to start again. The last time I saw her, as we were parting ways to be separated by a two-hour difference and a lot of water, she gave me something homemade, and I just saw the sincere amount of effort she put into it (not gonna lie, writing this is making me emotional). And because of her, I’ve found my love for homemade gifts once more.

In this entry I have a total of three ideas for DIY gifts you can give to family, friends, partners, or just about anyone. Although read with caution, these gifts come with time and patience, but the after product is always very rewarding.

Instead of going for your typical crazy halloween look, I thought to do something a bit different – I came up with four different modern halloween outfits that were inspired by some of your favourite fictional characters.

I am a 21 year old college student, currently studying business in the University of the Philippines Diliman. I’m an old-schooled, young hearted, tiny girl, who continues to dream big things. Continue reading “Caitdegreat”
